Our campaign aims to make a significant impact in four key areas: Education, Environment, Healthcare, and Livelihood.
On Menstrual Hygiene Day, iGiver launched the "Empower Her" campaign, a transformative initiative aimed at breaking the taboos and stigma surrounding menstruation. The campaign focuses on education, environmental sustainability, healthcare, and livelihood, bringing together non-profits, governments, the private sector, and individuals to create a #PeriodFriendlyWorld.
iGiver distributed 47 packs of reusable sanitary pads (188 pads in total) to students at the Government ADW Girls Higher Secondary School, Kannikapuram. Each pad, costing Rs. 100, represents a step towards ensuring that every girl has access to quality menstrual products and education.
As part of the campaign, a Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) training program was conducted on August 13, 2024. Led by Ms. Nivetha, the session educated approximately 100 students from classes 8 and 9 on the importance of menstrual health and hygiene, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to manage their periods safely and confidently.
