CHILD is a registered non-governmental organization established in 2005 to address a crisis involving children affected by HIV/AIDS in Chennai and Thiruvallur district. Many children in these areas faced stigma and uncertainty due to their parents’ HIV infections, leading to inadequate living conditions, forced relocations, and educational challenges.

CHILD’s mission is to transform the lives of these vulnerable children by providing them with essential amenities, educational opportunities, and support for extracurricular activities. They offer holistic support, including care, education, medical assistance, skill development, nutritional support, and life and computer skills training.

The organization’s goal is to raise these children to become exceptional global citizens while helping them seamlessly integrate into mainstream society with strong values.
